About Simplix14 - Providing High-Quality Diamond Tools

Our company is headquartered in New Orleans, LA. which has some of the hardest PSI concrete in the nation. Founded by Michael Pedalino. Michael has over 20 years of diamond tool selling experience, starting with his sales first job with a company called Bestcut Manufacturing at 22 years old. He would call on contractors nationwide from 6 am – 12 pm Monday – Friday, building relationships nationwide and learning about the industry.

In 2002, he started his own OEM private label diamond tool company called Axel Tool, LLC, partnering with a few companies in Florida and then with a local startup company in 2005 to help fulfill orders. After Hurricane Katrina, Michael decided to get out of the diamond tool business until 2011. His mentor in the industry called needing help growing his OEM diamond tool distributorship. Michael gladly accepted, and in return, he increased his knowledge of warehouse, shipping, SKU numbers, and better customer service. For some reason, things just didn’t seem to work out in that partnership which ended in early 2013.

Michael decided on a new career path in the group health insurance market, helping companies navigate the Affordable Care Act. Becoming a successful insurance broker still to this day, Michael still had a passion for serving the masonry, concrete, civil, utility construction industry with the best diamond tools he can provide by a new simple product offering with a transparent pricing model.

In 2018, Simple Diamond Solutions, LLC. DBA Simplix14 was established. The number 14 is based on the most commonly sold diamond blade diameter, the 14” high-speed blade. One mission of ours is to provide our clients with the best 14” high-speed wet/dry blade in the marketplace. Michael decided that the private label OEM dealer was an outdated business model. Michael applied the same approach with offering insurance carriers to his clients by promoting solid branded products in the marketplace and winning with partnerships.
